candle care

Let's glow.

On first use, burn candle to edge of vessel to prevent tunneling; this usually takes 3-4 hours. From the first time you light your candle, you're training your candle to use all the wax evenly, every time.

  • If your wooden wick doesn't light immediately or seems to go out quickly, that's normal! It may take a few attempts to light your candle the first time.
  • A little wax holding on to the side of the vessel? That's okay, too - it will catch up on the second or third burn.

Every time you burn your candle:

  • Trim your wick to 1/8" - 1/4" before each lighting.
  • Burn candle within sight.
  • Never burn a candle on or near anything that can catch fire.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.
  • Candle will be hot when lit. Do not touch until cool.
  • Keep wax pool free of debris.
  • Place on heat resistant surface.
  • Vessel is for decorative use, not food or drink.
  • Do not burn longer than 4 hours.
  • Stop burning when 1/4" of unused candle wax remains.
