What’s in a Glow Candle Co. candle?
- Coconut-Apricot Wax (NO soy!)

How long does a candle last?
Our signature 13.2 oz candle will burn 50-60 hours, depending on how you burn a candle.
Recommendations: burn to edge of vessel on first burn to “train” candle wick to melt & use all of the wax. This will usually take 2-4 hours. From there, burn your candle less than 4 hours each time to get the most longevity from your candle (longest burn time).

What are Parabens?
Parabens are a family of related (icky) chemicals that are commonly used as preservatives in cosmetic products. They are added into products to increase their shelf life, & to prevent mold or bacteria from forming, usually in water-based formulas. You’ll find parabens in things like shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, make-up, and fragrances. They can also be included in foods - like processed meats, sauces, or fizzy drinks. Negative health impacts are associated with both parabens and phthalates. Academic studies have voiced concerns in regards to human health - linking both parabens and phthalates to asthma, ADHD, breast cancer, and reproductive issues.

What are Phthalates?
Pronounced “thal-eights” - Phthalates are a group of chemicals that are scent carriers that help scents linger longer. Phthalates are commonly found in candles, fragrances, plastics, vinyl flooring, and fast food. They are often used to “enhance” because they are inexpensive.
Some types of phthalates have affected the reproductive system of laboratory animals, and are listed as endocrine disruptors. Research has also linked phthalates to health concerns like cancer and fertility problems; phthalates are currently banned from young children’s toys.
